Okay, I took a spray bottle of Windex and tried it out. Sprayed and nothing happenedIt sure is! Though I can already tell you how it's likely to perform based on first releases of other beta features by Tesla... but maybe I shouldn't
. Turned the auto wipers (beta) "On" in settings (duh) sprayed... And nothing happened . Got in the car... Now they worked . Sorry... Couldn't do a video.

This is really cool. If the camera is sensing any kind of debris on the windshield it does mean that it will automatically swipe to clean the window when the car has been sitting still for a while and it is currently not raining. A normal rain sensor will not make a swipe under that circumstance since it require to detect actual "new" rain drops while the car is running.

The spray was still on the windshield. Not sure why I needed to be in the car? I had left the door ajar so it didn't shut off. Maybe I should have woken up my wife at 5am to help me test out the feature... I'm sure she'd understand!how did you spray while in the car?

Does someone know if the sensitivity setting will also be available for AP1 cars? My auto wipers currently have 2 unusable settings:
1: Only wipe when car is fully submerged
2: Only wipe when window is fully covered with water
1: Only wipe when car is fully submerged
2: Only wipe when window is fully covered with water
Probably because there is no need to wipe if there's nobody in the car to look out the windshield.

Hmms, based on this and based on the other bits I wonder if the side repeater nn is starting to run in stealth mode on this new firmware.

@BlueRocket this is a looong shot, but you didn't happen to get any new options in your app, like preheating rear window, for instance?
(Guess this would require a new app update, hence the long shot.)

It does indeed, thanks.
I do notice however that the on/off switch has been added. In 50.2 that switch is not present. Hopefully they add the slider for AP1 as well in a later version.
