i just messaged with Tesla support and they said my car wasn't able to be upgraded but they said to deal with service center to be sure. What is minimum requirement for MCU1->MCU2 upgrade? I thought any 2017 Model X would be eligible?

My MCU (Infotainment) upgrade is done today and I also confirm that it included AP3. I don't have FSD.

Yes that is correct. MCU 2 upgrade in car with AP2 includes AP3 computer as well. They will not change the camera or any other sensors. AP3 computer is capable of handing those hardware. FSD is is just the update after you have the hardware in place.

Well service center said "NO AP" upgrades for me b/c i don't have FSD purchased but they will gladly upgrade the MCU for 3500 CAD+. Wonder if the person just doesn't know any better?
