Called this morning and now I have but look at post #4171...someone tell me to pay the deposit and that's all. Rest of papers on the delivery day.

Update from Tesla today, should be getting up my M3P in Black W/C 23rd March, on the Glovis Captain as it stands. Interestingly, I'm getting it delivered to my house address via Tesla Direct instead of collection from Leeds

interesting. How did you get that arranged? is this a service Tesla fulfil or do they get someone in to do it? Do you know whether the car will be driven to you or on the back of a lorry?

Yay, Booked 11 March to pick up from Leeds. It is through my wifes salary sacrifice, so details are thin on the ground. Anyone know the collection address in Leeds or is it just the showroom address?

So just got an update from fleet. M3LR MSM/Black order placed on 19/01/2020 available for collection on or around 16/03/2020 from Edinburgh.

Just spoke to a very nice Dutch lady about my order after a 10 minute wait on phone (01628450660 option 4).

She confirmed that my car is on the Morning Cara (I suspected so from hidden VIN date 14/12) so I have been watching the correct ship. Delivery mid-March all being well.
Will be hoping for no delays in getting to Zee on 5th March.
Yay!! Happy days are coming, maybe ICE rental can go back early

I have received your latest order update from Tesla. Your vehicle is currently showing to be one of the vehicles that has now been matched and on a ship. They are anticipating delivery of this vehicle to be late March to yourselves.

Tesla Direct appears to deliver via drivers

Mine will be the same - delivered instead of collecting for lease car, 4th March.

I will need a reg number for the company to organise funds, VIN isn't enough. Tesla didn't give me any real idea on how soon before delivery I will receive the reg.
I have a concern I'll be offered a date with little time to organise

What experience has anyone on this?

You send the deposit to the account on your final invoice quoting the RN number as reference. The paperwork says to use the invoice number but this seems to take longer to show in your source code.

I confirmed verbally on collection day that it had been received, no physical proof was required

Thanks. I wasn't sure if there was any difference in so much that when it was £750 it was said to be a refundable deposit, whereas the £100 is a non-refundable order fee.

Also - I assume I can pay on the day via bank transfer (~£61k odd) ? I don't want to have to pay up front and find out that my car is a lemon, not that it should be - touch wood.

Make sure to check with your bank regarding paying on collection. Mine has a daily limit of £30,000, so I'll have to make 2 payments for my Model 3.
