My car is at the body shop and is not connected to Wi-Fi, which I cannot download. Received notification its waiting to be downloaded. Will have to wait 3 days before it starts downloading by itself through LTE.
I’ve experienced the phantom braking through the last 40 software updates to my Model 3, including today on 2020.28.5. I do expect it will get better sometime during my next 40 updates.I wonder if they fixed the phantom braking?

Update going out today en mass. 2020.28.10 (reported with one car in TeslaFi) has disappeared. Which makes sense, considering 28.5 seems to be the "standard" update in the 2020.28 versions.

Still waiting for my update. Others in my city and who received their cars around when I did (1 on the same day) got thiers.

If you have FSD, it will randomly brake HARD and then resume the original cruise speed....
i.e., driving at 70MPH on autopilot...it'll drop to 60MPH for 1-2 secs at which point it feels like heavy braking, then go back to 70mph!
All I can say is 28.5 is virtually undriveable with TACC. Phantom braking and no longer accepting car in front to proceed through green light. Half the time a green light, following in traffic, forces acknowledgement before proceeding. I had to turn it off...maybe others are having better luck...

Not so sure about this. According to TeslaFi more cars were updated in each of the last 5 days then today. Only 72 so far today.

Maybe they pulled the update due to bugs? I've only heard one complaint in this thread, but maybe there's more.
I still don't see it so I can't comment on how good it is.
I installed today and drove it down a highway with many stoplights for about 20 miles and it seemed to do really well for the most part. It still does the little hesitation thing going through green lights sometimes, where it’s slows down 2 or 3 mph but speeds back up. Being able to go over the speed limit makes it much more usable.

Got 28.5 yesterday evening (brother in laws M3 did not). Took both on a 100 mile drive today no issues with TACC or Autopilot.
I’ve got my MY for 2 months now and after the update I am only getting 282 mph on my Performance. Anybody else?
Wow! If I knew those could go that fast, I would have paid the extra for the performance version
