2021.44.30.7 update caused lte and WiFi connectivity issue

I'm really starting to think this is a hardware issue. I've tried every reset I've heard of (two button, two button with brake, changing wheel settings) except the full battery pull and nothing has resolved it.

sidenote: it would be awesome if the navigation had more data cached locally for times like this. You can't use the nav unless you plop in the full address. There are tons of times when in remote PNW where cell service isn't available.

On our 2019 Model 3, LTE connectivity failed after update to 2021.40.30.11
WiFi works when the car is at home and it can connect to the home WiFi. On the road, I was unable to connect to hotspot on my phone.
Repeated reboots - both the 2-button press kind and the 'Power Off' from the Controls->Safety screen.

Managed to call Roadside and talk to someone who immediately said that the LTE antenna which is in the mirror is not functioning and needs to be replaced. Made a service appointment.

I cannot imagine how a software update broke a mechanical part
