Somebody in Rockville, MD going to be super excited…. I think I might switch to MSM/cream over the black on black…. Hmmmm it looks much different in person. can Confirm LR does not have perforation on the bolsters vs plaid does and the stitching contrast is for plaid only. Lastly appears there is no Dual motor badge on the LR. Well at least on that black one and the blue one next to it.

I've ordered the mats like 2 weeks ago now - the Tesla shop is just incredibly delayed in sending them out. Even now, the Frunk mat that 'shipped' more than a week ago is still sitting in Tesla's warehouse with a FedEx label by the looks of it. Meanwhile the remainder inventory (trunk, front, passenger, rear) finally shipped last week, so obviously now FedEx is taking its sweet time to deliver. They've been sitting in a FedEx Distribution Center 100miles from my home since Friday! I'm eager to test them out but need to get them in my hand first! haha!

Well it does not seem to have worked for me as I am still blank. I would be happy if August came back at this point. Not switching back though. Snow and Ice is sporadic where I live. If I find myself in a bad winter, I will probably rethink an all season option.

I’ll say this, don’t put weight into these EDD, right now. EOQ is this week. If you’re on the east coast and don’t have a vin by now, it’s very unlikely to get delivered. Again plenty of people have been told august September and will get VINS early next quarter. It always happens this way. I know it’s hard to not worry. But right now I would relax a little, don’t make changes to your order. Go with what you really wanted. You could always ask if they have a showroom model that you can and or might be able to grab. This is not directed at anyone just small advise from my experience of waiting a d taking delivery of past tesla. best thing is to have you account 100% completed, have some luck with what they are shipping out. I do really believe next quarter will be a lot of S deliveries. You will drive yourself mad trying to figure out the configuration that’s shipping or why this happened.

After seeing that amazing black MS, I have decided to change my order from Blue to Black! I've never owned a black car, and I'm extremely picky with cars (keep them immaculate at all times), so I've always been afraid that a black car would be just too difficult to maintain. But I figure I'll be even more careful with a black car, and I'll have it ceramic coated and a clear bra applied to the front on day 1, and the black exterior with chrome delete is SPECTACULAR!

Now I just need to decide whether to stick with the white interior (the "Tuxedo" look) or go with black interior to complete the "bat mobile" look... I do think the bright white interior is such a striking Tesla feature, and my previous MS (2020 LR) was blue with white interior and I loved it!

I also ordered mine with the 19 inch wheels, but I just ordered last week (1151XXX VIN), so by the time my car is produced (in October hopefully) the shortage should be sorted out. I sold my 2020 MS last Thursday, so I'll be driving my truck until the new MS arrives...

One last thought/question: I'm on the fence about ordering FSD for my new MS. I had it on my 2020, and I did like some of the features (but not $10k worth of liking). I know the new v11 is expected out at some point, and I definitely have FOMO if it's incredible. I also fear that Elon will jack the FSD price up even higher when the new FSD system is released... I'm tempted to go ahead and add FSD to my order now to lock in the $10k price (in case it rises between now and October). If I do, I assume I can cancel it before I take delivery if I decide it's just not worth it to me, right?

I did that too! I changed from blue to black and 19" to 21". Still kept the white interior. Thats non-negotiable.

Do you mind sharing the next number? I had a similar number to you, and estimated delivery date. Just our configs are completely different.

There really is no reason to hide any of the digits of a RN or VIN. There is nothing nefarious anybody can do with that information.

I have tentative delivery set up for June 30 but this is unlikely to happen. My car is in town, but they are waiting on the new 19" wheels. Likely delivery next week.

Hey everyone, I took delivery yesterday. Sorry I haven't posted. I took a bad spill earlier this weekend and am waiting on the radiologist to tell me whether or not my wrist is broken. But... initial thoughts:

1. The car is gorgeous. The interior is so much nicer than I expected. The paint looks amazing.
2. 2 fobs, 2 credit card keys, plus phone key. Really great amount of access options.
3. It's FAST. Like, I cannot imagine how fast the Plaid must be. This thing is a problem.
4. The yoke is a non-issue. I have not had any problems.
5. One issue I can't figure out: I linked my Spotify account and everything seems to work (playlists are showing up, etc). But I cannot get the car to play back music. Everything looks like it's working, but it doesn't actually play the music through the app. I can play on my phone and stream from there, but would like to do it directly through the app. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you confirm that your tires are the All-Season, or are they Summer only? I know there's been a lot of speculation on whether the Arachnids could be had with All Season tires for those of us in locations that get a lot of snow and ice... Just wondering. I'm considering switching to the 21s, but only if they can come with All Season tires. Thanks!

Id be lying if every s I see my eyes don't go straight to the wheel and if I see their hands through the windshield up top I know its not a yoke and my blood pressure drops. The first yoke I see will be a gut punch. Plaids fine I understand I guess, the push for eoq higher margin. Let's hope LR's 19s are coming in july to md. Would upgrade if there was communication that "yes we changed the 19s and don't have enough, care to give us 4500 and upgrade to 21s?!" At this point I would pay $4500 to have the car within the next month delivered with no wheels.

Ha I never wanted to give someone 5k faster than I do now.

Just checked but no NJ… also just FYI I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area, so if Nj refers to New Jersey I am a bit far from you… although I will totally jump on a plane to take a delivery in NJ and just have a 3 days road trip back home

Don't bet on getting a VIN next few weeks. I'm a tricked out order too, early March, still blank. Plenty of others ahead of you with orders that are higher speced. Higher spec doesn't mean anything. Locale maybe, but still doubtful and would be horrible of Tesla to send you a car when there are others with the same config waiting a whole lot longer.
