Why would removing a 10k option increase the price? Also, why remove FSD? Buyers remorse?
If you ordered before the price increase, ANY change causes the entire order to get rewritten using current price book, which is 5k more for LR and 10k more for Plaid. It’s a new order agreement but you don’t lose your place in line. Trust me, I’ve explored every possibility to get it removed without paying the extra 5k. For me, I wanted to add FSD after the purchase to avoid paying extra tax in CA. Purchasing FSD at delivery increases car value for tax and VLF purposes (every year). I definitely want FSD. It was a matter of timing.

FWIW, just checked on my 7 month old order. Calling my local SA number, it was forwarded to the Las Vegas team. They claim to have no knowledge of any 19" wheel issues. That's really hard to believe, if we have so many people calling to change their orders from 21 to 19. They also claimed to have no way to see where I was in the queue with a Dec 2020 order.

Tesla really needs to figure out a better communications plan on all this. This isn't rocket science, some companies do it quite well.
you are way ahead of me and blank.(RN114682) i think i will just not refresh for at least a week

Thanks for the info as I am in same situation here in San Diego. I asked two different SA's and they told me it would be no problem removing FSD and then adding it in the parking lot after delivery. I guess they haven't taken into account how it effects recent price changes. It's another example of better info here than from Tesla SA's.

Picking up my S-LR on Saturday and while I'm not happy about paying an extra $700 in sales tax, it's better having a surprise $5k bill from Tesla. I think I'm glad we switched to Arachnids before the price increase, thanks to info here about the delay on the 19" wheels. Our order did indeed speed up but I guess I'll see you all at Discount Tire in a year or so!

Good luck to everyone still waiting and maybe we'll do this all again at the CT Order thread.

A couple of weeks ago, I tested the theory that is changing the order from 19 to 21 would speed up the delivery. I am an RN1150 (late May). Well, it seems it worked; I have been mostly blank and in the last week showing October. Today it shows a delivery date between July 30 - August 11. We all know this is very subjective, and in an hour, I might be posting again saying that it is back to blank or October.

I'll keep you posted.

slowly improving back to 7/29-8/10 window. No vin so I am a little skeptical. If I’m getting it 7/29 it needs to be on a truck today from Fremont
exact same delivery window that came up for me today as well. I have been all over the place from blank to aug to blank to aug then 7/28-8/6 and now 7/29-8/10. We are both on the east coast so I 100% agree if no VIN in the next day or so...This will most likely be near the end of the window IF it even sticks.

Hopefully soon to be my 2nd most loved possession

Yeah I was 8-10 weeks, august, blank, august, 7/28-8/11 then 7/27-8/10 then blank for a few days then august, now this. SA saying a few weeks out sounds optimistic as it was months out a little while ago

I thought when FSD 9 hit, they were going to increase the price (possibly to $14k), offer an AutoPilot Plus option for $4k (basically, i think summon?) and lastly, a subscription service?
I added FSD in June for those reasons - wanted to avoid price increase, FOMO, and lastly, before lease, it gets factored in so costs me about $4,500 - 1 day after picking up car, it would have cost me the full $10k, and on the spot - so a non-starter for after picking up a lease.

Same for me went from October to July 27 - August 05. I'm in Houston.

It was something found in some code a few months ago hinting at a future 14k FSD price. I remember seeing some discussion on it but no confirmation/denial from Tesla.
An SA told me that it was likely to go up end of month or when released. As with all things Tesla, unpredictable. It will definitely go up when they open up beta to everyone.
