As if I needed more reason to dislike the yoke… that’s just pathetic on Tesla’s part.
I have the exact same problem on my yoke on both sidesMaterial is already peeing off the steering wheel yolk. Anyone else having this issue (yet)?

No! If you like gas-powered cars, there are other brands that still make those. I truly believe that EVs are the better choice as a daily driver though, for many reasons.Amen! If I want a gas engine in my Tesla, that should be an option too!
Can you please update with part # if you can possibly? Perhaps Part# on the invoice ??I had this issue on my 2022 LR and I scheduled a mobile repair that was supposed to be just a diagnosis, but they actually changed my yoke steering wheel to a newly updated material yoke in my garage. It has been about a month and so far no issues! The material does feel stronger.
Thank you so much for this info, I think that the Revision part is E than now ?Concern: Customer states: Interior Trim - Yoke Steering - left side shows “leather” wear. The car has way too little mileage to be showing wear on the steering wheel like this.
Verified customer's concern. Replaced steering wheel assembly with new. New steering wheel assembly operating as designed after repairs.

Especially as much beef as we eat, probably have a lot of cowhide as a byproduct, use it or throw it away...I don’t understand the big deal about leather, should give people a choice..
Rev E replacement here as well. I now have more wear and am scheduled for another replacement this week. I confirmed that the new one is an F revision but now that G is out I'm going to delay my service to get the G revision. This will be my 3rd yoke.Had mine replaced in March for tears. It is an "E" level. Does not feel any stronger than previous.
Let us know how the G revision goes. I am hoping this gets resolved.Rev E replacement here as well. I now have more wear and am scheduled for another replacement this week.
