2023 Model Y Custom Order Wait Time

Just an FYI for people just learing about the PPF and mudflaps. Mudflaps are front only. PPF is a small triangle of PPF ahead of the rear wheel...they aren't putting it all over the car. Tesla sells this same triangle on the online shop if you want to see what it looks like.
I had my detailer remove that PPF as it would just collect dirt as the edges aren't tucked.

Thanks. I've got an appointment in march to have the flaps and ppf put on, since they offered. I don't have them on my '21 Y. I figure 'something is better than nothing' I'll see how these look at report back.

We actually took delivery on Feb. 8! Did not post about it here as it would be the 5th Tesla in the fam by now and new deliveries have kinda lost their appeal (yeah yeah I know, first world issues), thus the whole fam does not drive out to watch new deliveries any more, ha ha!

Ordered 1/14 MYLR blue/white only options and no VIN. EDD changed for the third time 10 days ago to 3/5 - 3/31.

Just got an update text....for my model y....moved back to end of March delivery date.....Went from Mar/Apr to late May and now Mar 27-31.....getting closer..Happy Dance....

Oh man.., are you gonna be okay without the new HW4 and updated cameras? If you get your car in May, you have more chance of getting updated hardware…

H4 is reserved only for model X S for now so it doesn’t make any difference for the DD on Y /3

In the app, under the “registration” section, there is a section called “Tesla Location”. My understanding is this should be your delivery location. It should be closest one in your state.

Thanks for the quick reply. In my MVP, the seller name shows a different address of a nearby SC than the one under my registration

Not sure how you placed your order. For me, I placed the order to deliver to my home. So they will deliver to my drive way.

It should be based on your home location. It selected the delivery center closest to my house.
