Know the light is different, but who would tell me this is not PPF ? 😉

The way you post it may be confusing, but the first picture does not look like PPF (given line is raised, rest is recessed), the second does look like PPF (which you said you applied), given it's raised the whole surface.

Others have posted how the mold line looks on the bumpers and it looks the same as your first picture:

Given you applied PPF, if should be obvious you can lift the film and that there will be seam lines where you can do so. Again take a picture of the trunk where I marked it. If there is PPF, there would be a seam line there.

Thanks to people posting links to multiple threads where people shows the mold line and people confused an thinking it was PPF, I'm even more convinced it's not.
