Hi Everyone,

I'm thinking of ordering the 21" wheels but I've read a lot of threads about the reliability of the wheels. Specifically bent, cracked, or warped wheels after hitting potholes. In Colorado we love our potholes :)

I was curious if anyone has had a positive experience with the wheels? I do understand the tires will wear fast, but I'm okay with that. I'm more concerned if the wheels are truly weak.

Thanks

I don't think there is enough anecdotal evidence to say the wheels are weak.
If you are careful and avoid potholes, they should be fine.
They are chosen primarily for their looks, as there is no other advantage to the 21's.

I am struggling with the 21 v 19 issue as well. Would love a 20" OEM option. Or even an OEM 19" gray option.

I went with the 21" wheels on my build as I find them so great looking on the car. That said, I haven't received the car yet, so I cannot comment on the build. I will definitely put a set of 19" snows on for our lovely Chicago winters.
