40 min Supercharge took over 2 hours...

That only happens with A/C charging. There is no clunk with Super Charging.

Also if you are hearing a clunk it is because the charger is mounted on a inside wall that is reverberating into the house.

Mine absolutely clunks when the supercharging begins/ends. Every time on both Teslas I have owned.

The SC here is a remote location 8 unit at a resort hotel. I have seen only two other Tesla's at it in the whole month I have been here.

Note that when usage of a SC is over 50% of its capacity, Tesla charges idle fees, currently at a rate of $0.40 per minute. If you were still plugged in 90 minutes later, that would have been $36.00. A thought for everyone driving alone: setting an alarm wouldn't be a bad idea if there's a chance you might fall asleep during the charge.

Back in my day, I had a 90 minute cassette tape with one really loud song on the end of the 2nd side. I'd pull off on the side of the road, put that tape in ye olde fashioned autoreverse cassette player and sleep for 1-1/2 hours.
