No. Comprehensive covers items that are obviously out of your control like vandalism, weather, and moving objects. However, your first notice of loss is everything and exactly why the insurance company records it. If you say a ladder was in your lane and you couldn't do anything to avoid it, that is collision. If you were driving and a ladder was moving in to your lane, that is comprehensive. Mysterious collision type damage is collision, unless you have a witness and a responsible party.

If you hit in the parking lot an immobile object, this could happen too, wouldn't that be collusion?
