I'm working on writing an academic paper on the thermal management of Li-ion batteries for use in EVs, and I was thinking that running some simulations on the new 4680 cells would be a neat idea. Problem is, I'm struggling to find any sort of data sheets regarding specific thermal performance characteristics of these cells which are usually released by cell manufacturers, such as heat dissipation and discharge current curves, etc. Has this data simply not been released yet because they are still in development? Or am I just not looking in the right place?

I wouldn't expect Tesla to release those details for their 4680 cells, since they don't sell them to anyone. (So it is just internal information.)

Other people making 4680s might not be implementing all of Tesla's tech, so the specs probably wouldn't be the same. (Tabless, DBE, Tesla formulation, etc.)
