Right after a week I took delivery of my M3, my windshield cracked (the pain!!

It's been 7+ months of waiting for a replacement to come in to the Tesla and still no availability.
How is that possible? gives me a very bad impression of maintenance and repair for my car.
Luckily this is an issue that still allows me to use the car as transportation, but what if it was a part required for the vehicle to move? 7+ months without a car?
Has anybody else had a similar experience?
How long have you had to wait for a windshield or any other parts to be accessible?
In my opinion, Tesla needs to up their game with parts and availability, and stop playing monopoly with the repair market on their vehicles.
