can anyone please point out to a site that has instructions

I was using TurboTax. It prompts you with a question whether on not you've bought an electrical vehicle in 2018. Simply click "yes" and follow the prompts - they are VERY simple and straight-forward. There is no way to go wrong.

We seem to go through this every year.... and yep using tax software is the best answer. As above, I answered a couple of questions last year for my X and will do the same for our 3 this year and no issue.
