980 (3d1) possible failure?

I’ve read some 980 motors die due to anti freeze going into inverter possibly because of old oil seal or so. People say this problem appears usually on model S vehicles, but I talked to people who changed motor on M3 cars. Question is - how often it appears and is possible solution to replace oil seal to prevent antifreeze to go into motor? My mileage is 117k kilometres, I don’t really want to buy another motor in future

Is your car under warranty

No it’s not

Your car is still under warranty for the battery and drive unit, unless it was salvage / rebuilt. The drive unit is covered till either 160,000km or 192,000KM depending on model. Both of those are longer than your stated mileage.
