The person you are quoting has been posting about pricing here since late 2022 (and thats all they basically post about, is topics around tesla pricing). Since its the only topic they post here about, and they have been posting about it for 2+ years, they probably feel like they have a good handle around it.

I think he recognizes that the Model Y demand has tanked and Tesla is pretty desperate to push them.

Best deals will probably be closer to the Juniper launch. Or even inventory models after it's launched.

Tesla tends to use multiple banks so you’d have to read the offer’s terms. To my knowledge it’s pretty rare these days to have prepayment penalties.
