Accuracy of Charge Limit

August LR AWD MY here with 35xxx VIN. Roughly 1,200 miles. I have a 14-50 setup at home.

The past few times I've scheduled a charge to 80, the car will be at 81 or 82% in the morning. Is this normal? If not, any thoughts as to why the final charge isn't matching the set limit?

I have been seeing this anomaly for at least the past month, not sure when my Model Y started charging to 83% instead of the 80% I had set on the Tesla App. I don't consider this an issue.

Glad to hear it's not just me. And yeah, I don't recall exactly when this started but it wasn't like this until recently. Maybe, it's a byproduct of one of the software updates.

The available energy you can get out of a battery shifts a little bit with temperature. So it could finish charging at 80%, but then some time later, the battery warms or cools some, and it can shift by 1 or 2 %. That's not unusual at all.
