After an Update Changes Display

I have a simple (I hope) question regarding the display after an update. When I get an update, the display shows the new changes. After I read them, I would like to remove them from staying on the display. However, I cannot find the magic movement to make them disappear so I can see my full nav screen. Eventually, they do disappear, just not right away. What am I missing here?

I believe just press the bottom left icon will minimize the Controls screen when any screen is maximized. Conversely, to display release notes about the current version of your vehicle's software at any time, touch Controls > Software > Release Notes.
