Album Cover Art Bluetooth Missing

What was in the release notes? Did I miss something?

I meant the IOS 13 release notes, but now that I look it was actually in the Features page (iOS 13 Preview - Features):
Bluetooth album art
iOS supports the AVRCP 1.6 standard, which includes album art when connected to a supported car kit or speaker.

Interesting. It doesn’t show the artwork matching what Apple Music has sometimes. So that’s still weird. It sure seems Tesla Bluetooth stack is really bad.

Well this is interesting. I updated my iOS to iOS 13 beta today and boom I am seeing album artwork. I literally did nothing different. My life is now complete. Haha

I don't think its from the iOS 13 beta. I have not had album artwork in my car for months and it just started appearing on Sunday. I'm still on 2019.12.1 and I'm running whatever the current iOS non-beta.

Happy to have it back.

Is there any sort of media control from USB thumb drive? Like a media player with options such as playlists?

Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but I had an update last Friday and since then covert art are back when playing over bluetooth, for the first time since I got the car. They disappeared on day two.

It looks like the animated album artwork is causing issues with cover art displaying. I changed the setting (in music settings in the control panel) to off and it seems to be working much better.
