When you put it in this perspective, it makes sense to get the acceleration boost. Do you have one? If so, was it worth it to you?

I do- and as someone who bought his LR AWD when it cost $11,000 to upgrade to a P3D-, I find getting half the acceleration difference for 2k very much worth it, even though I don't get to use it a ton (90%+ of my driving is highway, on FSD)

I keep checking - to see if they add an option to buy the other half of the stealth P unlock.

I think if this was ever gonna happen a few weeks before end of Q2 2020 would've been it- if it didn't happen then it's probably not ever going to happen.

I was doing the same for months. Then I thought: What if they decide to stop offering it? So I gave in. No regrets since.

I’m not checking for a discount, I’m checking for an acceleration boost for the LeMR. I dread the “You have all the eligible upgrades” screen.

I know. And more importantly, I agree with both of your points above.

My point is that I feel like I missed out on an actual deal (P3D Stealth, which was a small fee more than LR AWD). Paying $2K now would still not get me a car as fast as a P3D-.

P3D is about 3 flat with rollout, the boost is about 3.5... (versus the LR AWD without boost, which is about 3.9)

At $2K, it's not worth it as a 2019 P3D Stealth was just a $2,500 extra cost.

Had I known that I could have purchased a stealth model last year, I'd have picked up a model 3 one year earlier and gotten the P3D-.

Therefore, I refuse to pay the full price for the boost knowing the above.

Nah... mostly just disappointed in myself for not learning more about the Model 3 beforehand. LOL.
