Amperage question

After pulling into an RV park today and using my adapter for the mobile charger I plugged it into the 14-50 outlet but the charger only seem to pull 32 A. Is this correct or should it be able to pull more? The 14-50 plug did have a 50 amp circuit breaker on it. I thought I would be able to pull 40 A.

The mobile charger max is 32 amp. If you get the hardwired charger (the one you wire into your home circuit) you can get 50 amps

If its important to you, you can pick up a Gen1 UMC from ebay and get 40 amps, I understand.
