Annoying water marks from tree

Hi all,

I picked up my M3 a month ago and have had the unfortunate luck of parking under a tree that had released watery sap on to it which has somehow embedded in the paint. Could someone please guide me as to how I could remove it? I tried white vinegar but it didn't work. Would a clay bar be the best option? Thanks

Take it to an expert who can correct it then apply a protective ceramic or other coating of your choice to the car to prevent repeat damage. As a bonus your car will be easier to clean and will not require waxing
