Any Colorado deliveries post factory reopen?

Called Tesla Littleton today to see if there was any update on the location of the car as it should have arrived by now. They pinged it and it indeed moved but from the port of San Fransisco to the Fremont factory. Now I am really confused. On Thursday they said it was on the move (supposedly stating on Tuesday) and was still in CA but moving away from the factory. WTF!

The car was built on or before 06/19. Paid for in full on 06/25. VIN pulled to try to move it by the end of the quarter on 06/29. VIN reassigned (because they can't sell a paid for car) on 07/01. It has been sitting at the port of San Fransisco since 06/20. At first to "undergo additional testing" then awaiting a truck.

Looking at the spreadsheet the average time from VIN -> Delivery for Tesla Littleton is 5 days. My car has now been sitting for 22 days with no explanation (except the end-of-quarter BS shenanigans they pulled) from Tesla. I am starting to think opting for delivery in NM was a bad idea. It was supposed to delay delivery by up to a week but this is ridiculous.

So sorry to hear that hjelmn, I think you should really find someone in Tesla that can give you the real story. It's just sounds a bit crazy....I can understand if the problem is delivering to NM, but the car should have been in Colorado by now.

Well, maybe some light at the end of the tunnel for me, but hoping you are on the same car carrier as I am. I received a text Saturday saying my Tesla was moving and had me request a delivery date for my MY. I received the text at 10:47am, called the service center at 12:13pm. Didn't get someone local, but the person I spoke with "pinged" my car and said it was reported in motion and moving at 10:52pm Friday night. So, one would deduce that it SHOULD be there today at the latest. My appointment window was Tue, Wed, or Thur for pickup. I am scheduled for Wed. I think I am calling today to ask for eyes on (with a pic of the VIN) to truly ensure it is there before driving to the SC.

Looks like mine is still in Fremont. The delivery specialist is trying to figure out what is going on as it was supposed to move SF -> Littleton last week. It sounds like Tesla doesn't tell the delivery specialists anything. Hopefully you get better news than I did today.

On the plus side they are refunding the difference between the old and new price ($2k in my case) so that is good. I would recommend anyone awaiting delivery request a refund in writing to their delivery specialist.

I have seen multiple press reports about Tesla is having issues with getting available trucking to get the cars out to the delivery centers

Hard to say. Someone was saying that Littleton was handling ~ 50 deliveries a day. That is 10 trucks each day.

For my car I had assumed that was the issue until I looked at the spreadsheet. Lots of deliveries in 4 days from VIN assignment. Not all of these are from the factory but many are.

Bummer to hear that. I was hoping to meet you as we both took delivery at the same time. :)
I did call and they confirmed that my MY is on site. They wouldn't take pictures of it and send them to me as "it is against their policy to take pictures of the vehicles before detailing has occurred" and detailing was scheduled for today. I think I may make a road trip up tomorrow after work to walk the lot and see if I can find it for at least a locked inspection to see if my wife needs to take the afternoon off work on Weds. I am hoping for a blemish free-ish delivery.

I forgot to ask about the $3k discount. I'll need to do that.

Did you just order FSD? I though the $3k was off the base and shouldnt apply to FSD.
I ordered mine with FSD, why would I only get $2k? The base is the base isnt it?

From what I understand you have to accept the new price for everything. I have FSD on the order and the option went from $7k to $8k so I am on the hook for the new price by asking for the new base price. Will find out more when the delivery specialist gets to my email. I am asking for more due to the delivery delays.

Yep, that was the case. I am on the phone with a delivery agent now. She confirmed FSD goes up to $8k but still eligible for $3k discount, so yes, the net is $2k savings. She said I had to request it, which I did and she confirmed it was applied.

Hi, we were just at the Littleton service center about 2 hours ago, and didn’t see any Red model Y’s on the lot. It may have been in one of the garages. We were told today, that ours was coming in tonight, and was currently on a truck in Wyoming, so wondering if yours is on the same truck. Hoping it’s there, and was just hidden in one of the garages!

One more thing on the price reduction. We got an email saying we were eligible, and that our order could be moved to the latest pricing on the Tesla.com website. I checked and our base price would go to $60,990 vs $60,500, so no savings at all. Check your options, and price it out before agreeing to new pricing.

GRRRRR.....This had better not be the same thing I had last week. I was told last week that it was in route (after the agent clicked on the keyboard for a few minutes) only to find out it was still in SLC.

Today, I asked for photo confirmation and was told that they didn't do that until after detailing. I called back to ask about the $3k off and asked someone different after explaining the previous canceled appointments, and she said she would get the prep team to at least take a photo of the VIN for me. That was about 12pm today. I haven't heard anything since.

However, she did say that the computer showed it checking in "about four hours ago" as on site. So I have to assume that it is there and maybe inside getting detailed. My delivery appointment is Weds so maybe they are cleaning it now. She also checked to see what version of firmware was on it, as I asked for them to update it before I took delivery (they cant btw) and she said that if the computer didn't show it, she would go out and look on the car. The computer showed it, so she didn't have to go look.

I think I am going to blow a gasket (guess I cant use that term anymore) if it isnt there. :)
