Any difference between referral code - supercharging enabled cars & PRE-referral code supercharging

Im wondering of the lifetime of supercharging transfers exactly the same way in both instances.

Curious to know if anyone has done this and how it worked out.

Big difference. Referral code supercharging is good for the original owner of the car and does not transfer upon sale. Pre-referral supercharging stays with the car. When buying a used Tesla this would be handy to check out in depth if supercharging is valuable to you. While both cars will supercharge, only the pre-referral will remain free.

So to confirm - if you buy a pre-Jan 15/2017 production vehicle that would have to be delivered by April 1/17 then you have lifetime transferable supercharging for you and all subsequent owners of your vehicle, should you or they decide to sell it in the future.
