Anyone with a 2023-24 RWD Y think they’d pay to upgrade to LR?

Now that Elon has announced a tentative plan to allow RWD owners to pay to unlock our software locked batteries to be long range, I am curious if anyone thinks they will?

I don't see myself paying to unlock the capacity as it would be rare for me to ever want to charge past the approximate 90% available in the 2023. Maybe it's a little more enticing for the 2024 cars that have more of the capacity locked.

If at some point I felt I may need the extra range on a regular basis, maybe. No doubt the option will help with resale.

It would be nice to have that option. Unfortunately the Fremont built MY RWD to Canada is equipped with LFP so this is moot for us Canucks.
