AP Panic stops

Upgraded to firmware 2.28.19 Two days ago. Yesterday AP performed what could best be described as 2 panic stops on the freeway for no apparent reason. squiggly red lines with what looked on the dash as if there was a truck in front of us, but nothing was in front of us.

Man and I get annoyed when my rain sensing wipers on my "classic" Model S start acting up. I'm not sure I could stomach autopilot!

Was n a center lane. Might have been something in an adjacent lane, not sure.

Autopilot has PTSD after the semi truck incident...

I haven't had emergency braking but in the days since 2.28.19 the forward collision warning (beep plus the car on the display turns red) has gone off twice. I only triggered it once before in over a year of driving. In both recent cases I was tucking behind a car in slow traffic and there was no danger. I don't mind it as long as it doesn't actually do emergency braking - then I might be rear-ended. I checked and the forward collision warning setting is 'medium', the same as it was before. Of course two instances are not statistically significant enough to definitely attribute it to 2.28.19.

If the road has a large enough bump in it, the car can see it as an obstruction.
That has happened to me at least twice, but not recently - or maybe it has happened and I just filter it out as "normal limitation".
