Exactly the same thing happened to me a couple days ago. Plaid+ reservation was involuntarily converted to plaid, at which point i cancelled and the refund was refused without explanation. It‘s unfortunate that such great cars are made by a company that I will never do business with again.

It's an LR. The low 3 seconds to 60 for the LR is the same time as for the P85D's original insane mode. They even mention "insane" acceleration when they described the LR on the Tesla website.

I suppose the optimistic view for reservation holders would be that the plaid+ will be introduced much sooner than the mid-22 date that's in effect for new orders, and the $10k price increase just put in coincident with the appearance of the mid-22 date means that the orders on the book already...
