For fun I tethered my phone to give me new S100D wifi. Mainly fishing for that new update. I've already got 17.11.10, but after an hour and a half I'm seeing over 2.5GB of data usage.

I guess it could have come with outdated maps, but it seems too big to be a firmware update. For everyone else that monitors, how much wifi data do AP2 cars use for fleet learning? Apart from firmware and map updates I've never seen AP1 pull this much data.

Were you listening to music?

Yeah I found the Slacker Ultra High Bitrate option…. kidding! :D

It ended up stopping at around 4.3GB, which is about the size of a map update. However, nothing in the UI yet almost 24hrs later. I recall when I got this update on my last Tesla in January it took a few days before the car admitted the maps were updated. That's probably what it is.
