Any current owners also have difficulty connecting via the app? Sometimes it takes multiple refreshes to even grab a connection before "Vehicle Connection Error" pops up. Seems like the LTE connection could use a software update or two.
Haven't seen an error pop-up, but i've had it not connect to the car even when i'm standing right next to it for a while. Sometimes have to reset my phone (Android) to get it to work.

I am having issues as well; connecting usually takes between 15-20 seconds or times out with the error message you mentioned above. I also have a Model X loaded onto the iPhone app which has no issues and an almost immediate connection to the car.
