App tracking function does not continuously update

Tesla app no longer shows model 3 moving when tracking with location function. It shows the point in time speed and point in time location whereas before the speed and location would continuously update. Anyone else experience that? Is there a configuration setting to fix that? All suggestions are appreciated.

If you are using TeslaMate, try disabling Streaming API. This may affect it.

I've seen the app refresh every couple seconds when I let my son drive it recently. Remember the app talks to a tesla server, and that server talks to your car via cellular. Sometimes cellular service is a bit unreliable.
