I called Tesla support and they told me they were seeing random bluetooth disconnects. They asked me to reload the app, forget the bluetooth, and then reconfigure the key. I will see tomorrow if this really worked or not.
I was having similar issues and found a recommendation to log out of the app, reboot the phone and sign back in to app. I have not had an issue since doing this two days ago. I also received an update to 36.5.8 from 36.5.5 which zi think was to fix this issue.
