I guess if you turn left at the end of the road when you should have turned right you’ll still get there, it’s just about 25k miles further than it needs to be.

Not sure what causes that but it happens all the time in the app when I open location (the road name on the front screen is shown correctly). Similarly, the realtime data from Teslamate is always spot on.

This has happened to me from day one. Logged it in service almost 3 years ago and didn’t get a meaningful response.

I don’t bother using the Tesla map, I just use TeslaMate or Home Assistant to see where the car is. The map UI is nicer in those apps anyway.
