Yep really happy to see some movement in VIC too especially given our port chaos so far this year.So happy seeing VINs assigned in QLD for people who ordered in December and even January 2023! One day this will be me

Considering there is a ship (turandot if I'm not mistaken) heading to Melbourne port, it's likely that we will see movement in a few days it's hard to stay think positive given the condition of the port 
There is movement happening. I got my VIN yesterday and ordered a month before you. Delivery window still TBD, though.
With all the VINs getting assigned lately, I'm hoping we get something over the next week.Hoping to see some movement in VIC. December order and no updates. SA keeps insisting we will get vin assigned very soon but that’s what he’s been saying for the last few weeks

If you have any incomplete tasks (eg choosing cash or finance) or are waiting on a trade-in offer from Tesla then you won't get a hidden VIN until those are completed.
Like Zombie mentioned, if you have trade in filled out and waiting their valuation, vin won’t be visible.Ordered 02/11 in Melbourne, MY white colour, white interior, with 19" wheels.
Just got an update from Tesla this morning, ETA 22/05 to 11/06
Can't see the exact the VIN through the chrome plugin though, not sure why.
You can click on no trade in and the vin will be visible and you can ask your SA to eee able trade in option but isn’t worth it. Wait a few hour hours and a day and you will see the rego papers with the vin details.
Thx mate. So you don’t recommend trading in for a Tesla? Is Tesla’s valuation normally lower than for example Carsales instant offer?
That’s what the usual perception is. Tesla’s evaluation is usually low compared to others. But I like the idea of driving down to the delivery centre and driving out in the new car.
It’s difficult for us as we live regional and hard to sell privately as very few residents and most of them are into 4WDs. So for us, even if it is less, easier with Tesla. Drive down to Port Melbourne, hand over, pick up the Tesla and drive 300ish kms back.
