Hi, ordered MY RWD white on 19th Jan 2023 with EDD Feb-May. What are the chances of it meeting this timeframe?

It's difficult to make predictions, especially about the future. But don't get your hopes up for it arriving early in that window. Apr-May is more likely.

I have the same EDD and ordered June 17th last year. So, knowing my luck, we'll probably wave to each other when we pick our Tesla's up on the same day.

I spoke to Tesla and they confirmed what the Ultrasonic Sensors are still equipped on Australian Model Y vehicles. I wonder if this means it won't get the upgraded cameras that they are getting on Model Y vehicles in the US?

There have been plenty of rumours about upgraded cameras, but I don't think there's any confirmation they've been installed on any cars yet.

If that was repeated here MYP would be under the LCT threshold so the price reduction would be around $10k. Unfortunately too much demand to expect that sort of reduction here.

Needs just a $701 reduction in the Base Y for that to qualify for the WA EV Rebate. No brainer that would explode (further) orders for it here. But as it is, it’s so popular so that’s a bit of a dream.

Yes but an extra $1500 on top of the $701 (or whatever the number is for all states) would be nice so we can switch the paint or interior.

Yes its hard to fathom Tesla's logic with reductions when only a small adjustment would open the door to various state based subsidies. Perhaps the extra demand is not wanted, however it just drives opportunity for its competitors.

So after only a week on FB marketplace and Carsales the old ICE car is sold (thankfully) leaving me to borrow the grandparents 2012 Ford Focus until the MYP arrives.

I cannot express enough how eager I am now for this car to hurry up and arrive!

Likewise. Sold my 2017 Ford Ranger not long after ordering the MYP and have been driving a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer around ever since.

I'm driving a 2008 Mitsubishi lancer too. First new car in 15 years. Tesla was kind enough to offer $3500 for a trade in too
