just a question about cars destined for melbourne. Where abouts does the ship dock? Does the ship travel all the way to melbourne and dock here or does it dock before (eg PK) and cars transported down via truck? I am assuming they may only truck cars down if there are not many onboard?

It used to be a truck from Kembla but I hear they now offload at Melbourne port

I’m a day 0 order at 11:23AM and EDD is 19/Mar to 9/Apr, so I’d assume it’s going to be docking at Melbourne port, if it trucks here, it wouldn’t take that long right?

I’d assume it’s going to be docking at Melbourne

Yes they dock in Melbourne for Victorian and Tasmanian orders now. There are too many cars these days to be driving them down from Port Kembla. When they’re coming in by the thousands there aren’t enough trucks to transport them that way.

Have to think that with all the RAVs above and mine too, that the coincidence of Viking Passama docking suggests it had/has these cars onboard, and the early MYPs were/are on Paglia. Paglia is still waiting to get into Port Kembla, VP is on its way to PKembla to join the que.
