Interesting my EDD updated. Feb 1 to Feb 22 now which is roughly few days earlier than before. Location is Sydney

Firstly, I really hope they get it sorted for you this week.
However, having read the tesla-info.com site, cars are not made to order. Instead, a buyer has to wait until a planned production run includes a car with their specs. Plus, it's doubly hard because AUS need RHD vehicles.
It's not a good strategy on Tesla's part (a failure was always going to happen eventually) but I guess they were lucky until this occurred.
What disturbs me the most, is that they had no contingency plan, they just scrambled to catch up.
Is that how they manage everything?

I got the email saying it’s being changed but it’s not been updated yet.

I called Tesla about reassigning they said they couldn’t tell me and I’d just have to keep an eye on the app

Update: i have finally been reassigned a new VIN literally just now and had my estimated delivery date moved by a week.

I'm getting left behind!

I think we have the same exact situation where our NL has already fully paid for the car. So if they changed it for me, they’ll surely do that for you as well.
Maybe you can try refreshing again later today. I checked and seeing no update, I tried refreshing 5 mins later and it’s literally changed.

I had no emails about reassignments or else but I went forward and downloaded a new registration form from Tesla website which has an updated VIN. Signed and sent back.

I went forward and downloaded a new registration form from Tesla website which has an updated VIN. Signed and sent back.

yes - the new rego form will reflect your new VIN and Engine #'s

If the form appears on your account, you can go ahead and fill it out / send back to the Tesla registration email address

Same here, no email yet, but I have a new VIN on the rego forms now, Invoice still has the old VIN number.

Just had a wee bit of hail come through.
The Tesla would be where the Ute is if we had it already. I haven't checked yet but I dont think it made through unharmed
