Auto Lane Change not working on 42.1 update

I have wondered how it decides not to do a lane change. Let me explain.

The freeway where I cannot do auto lane change is more of a local freeway with 55 mph limit.

The one where I can is a more of a freeway without lights etc with speed limit of 65. There are stretches of that where the limit is 55, yet I can do auto lane change.

To me it appears to be geofenced. Is that correct?

Updated to 42.1 last Saturday and just noticed that Auto Lane change is not working in EAP mode. I put my blinker on right or left and the car stays in lane and doesn’t change. I have MS 75D.

Anyone else notice this?

I realized what previous poster mentioned. There HAS to be outside lines from the solid blue lines in EAP before auto lane change can work.

Out of curiosity, were you trying at night? There are a number of reports that recent releases reject auto-lane-change at night, but work during the day. I have seen this behavior, too.
