Just ordered a CPO Model S 85D with AP1 convince features and I want to know if the new update that Tesla released will be on the Car when i pick it up

As far as I am aware, as I own an AP1 car, this update will not work for AP1 vehicles, only AP2 and up. This due primarily to there being no rear-facing camera on the AP1 cars.

It is not, totally different hardware and not upgradable.

Will it have the latest update? Maybe, maybe not. But it'll get pushed to your car eventually if it's not.

That said, an AP1 car is not going to get features like Navigate on Autopilot. That's for AP2 and higher.

I do have 9 (.39) on my AP1 and there was a minor improvement in stopping distance and smoothness but we are reaching the limits of the hardware. AP1 has 1 camera and 1 radar available to it. AP2 cars have 8 cameras in use now (and the 1 radar) as well as dramatically greater computing power.

To complete answers already provided above, so far all updates go to all cars. S, X, 3, regardless of with or without AP and AP version. So the software updates will be pushed to your car but improvements (*) relying on hardware like AP will not be available.
