"Autopilot Trial. Software update in progress..." locks up car

Why do I get this error?

First off, I don't want Autopilot and why is is trying to update even though I didn't ask it to update?

Second, why is this stuck on my screen and I can't do anything with the car or drive?

I always need to reset the car by pushing the 2 buttons. It's happened twice.

So many bugs with this car.
