Received a response this afternoon from my IDA. "Your final MVPA should reflect the new pricing. If it does not, you will be refunded the price difference."

Received a response this morning from the Customer Experience Specialist at the local Tesla showroom. "I believe all orders that have not been delivered will be adjusted down to the price displayed on the website".

I have it in writing, I am moving forward with my delivery on 11/1. It can't come soon enough...

And this morning my order reflects the reduced price, however the MVPA has not been updated.

A dumb question but I can't figure it out. What exactly came down in price? I redid an order with my same configuration (not submitting of course) and ended up with the same price. I did get the blue when it was a mere $1000 though. I don't have EAP either.

edited to add: BTW I was in Richmond, VA yesterday and stopped at the service center (I live a bit far away). My delivery is scheduled for the 30th, and they pinged my car. It's in Chicago/in transit. I was hoping they'd already have it and I could move up my date, but it was wishful thinking.

I believe it is when you ordered and what you ordered. My $1000 reduction came from the AWD upgrade going from $6000 to $5000. Ordered 10/13, expected delivery 11/1.

The white interior upgrade is also $500 cheaper than a week ago.

Why is everyone canceling and reordering? My price got adjusted pretty easily. Saved 1500.
For me it wasn’t about the price , we some family stuff pop up created a stressful situation so I cancelled my delivery.
Then the whole MR and price change hit , the fam8ly situation resolved itself so I re ordered and now I’m getting blue with the white and black!

Hi all- so it actually happened- took delivery at Mt Kisco today. Car looked great, basically perfect except one pin sized dimple in the paint that I’m just letting go. Everyone there was super nice.

Thanks to everyone here who has “suffered” through all the ups and downs of the waiting process with me. Car is fantastic and it all seems worth it. Best of luck to those of you still waiting.

Yeah, what @robd said.

I popped the defective bulb and adjusted the connection. It has been consistently working ever since.
I will definitely get some aftermarket bulbs in places, but I have a couple other things like a Trunk mat and umc extension that are a priority.

I believe my steering wheel is off center by 3-5 degrees to the left which is super minor, but I'm super anal about steering wheel and alignment. I'll need to get that adjusted when I'm ready to part with my new baby for a few hours.

Well, it finally happened and car was delivered. Only one minor paint issue on a mirror cap, but otherwise everything looked good.:)
