I like the bit at about 14 minutes where JVS said he was concerned that they don't have "enough ommph for stuff like pulling away at roundabouts" to be practical. You know the thing that is arguably one of the major strengths of EV's!!. The guy on the phone corrected him but did not point out he was a moron for thinking that.

Awful. How much ignorance can you find displayed in one location? Even the woman who has worked on marketing campaigns for ev seemed to have no real understanding ... and she couldn't even remember that the Jag is called an iPace (yes, she worked on that campaign). I gave up after that.
The first guy who called in is an EV owner, and even he was repeating the myth about the batteries needing replacement! That's worrying, because it's a kind of Daily Mail / Jeremy Clarkson lie that they make up - and clearly members of the public are absorbing it and repeating it.
You wonder what the future holds, when anyone can make up anything on the internet, and if it gets repeated enough it becomes a 'fact'.

Their ignorance only shows their ability at doing their job which clearly shows they need to be replaced!
These people are certainly not the types you want to listen to if you want to be at the forefront of tech.

Most of the people they had on were like pensioners with MkI/II leafs. which they loved but with less than 110 miles of range they weren't really selling the idea to anyone. But thats daytime local radio. No Tesla owners. they were at work trying to earn enough for next months lease payment

Yes sounds about right, what matters is that they are acknowledging EVs exist and at least not talking about something like hydrogen fuel cells!
