Best Tesla Model X Car Phone Mount

Hi Everyone,

I finally found THE PERFECT car mount for the Tesla Model X. I like to supplement the Google maps navigation screen with Waze and found this to be the perfect setup. It's made by iOttie

Can’t understand why anyone recommends suction cup mounts. They look cheap and tacky and always fall off eventually. ProClip mounts are the only thing I would ever use. And no, I am not affiliated with ProClip, but I have tried just about every type of mount (iOttie, Kenu, Scosche, etc) and they are all a joke next to ProClip.

I am partial to the magnetic ball approach. Far cleaner in look and appearance (with or without the phone in place) and in functionality and adjustment.

Im testing this in S The Spiegel - Wireless Car Charger
..same form factor as magnetic ball type without magnet ...issue I had with magnet is doesn’t work with wireless charging ..I like the proclip in X but pricey

Very nice. Now Tesla needs to incorporate the technology with a similar factory offered unit without the external wire showing!

I just don't want to stick anything (adhesive or not) on my tesla dash. I just leave my phone below on the console area.

The adhesive is a nonissue. I have moved my mount a couple of times with no detectable trace of adhesive or damage. In fact, one could argue that it protects that area from being scratched.

I ordered one from abstract ocean. It use micro-suction to hold onto the phone and does wireless charging. I an still try to decide whether to install on the left or right. I stream music from the phone so want it close, but the steering wheel is hard to look through if I place it on the left side,
