Best way to add to tesla solar system?

I have 8.16 kW system without storage installed by Tesla. The 12.24 kW system would not have fit and would have way over produced.

In fact, even the 8.16 kW overproduces, however we got two new EVs right now and started going out more, also will eventually upgrade to a heat pump.

Is it reasonable to install 1-2 kW additional system, probably with micro inverters (though that will be on east and north sides probably)
Or will the extra charge on the interconnect boxes be prohibitively expensive? I think an interconnect box is needed, since the main pane only had two fuses, one for A/C and one for subpanel and Tesla split the A/C one in halves. Unless the supanel one can be split, it is 90 A.

I believe there is about 1kW limit to stay under NEM 2.0 if NEM 3.0 is in place. OTOH, it may be hard to get PGE permission unless I actually install the heat pump due to the overproduction.
