Better cupholders and/or way to remove sliding console door??

IMO, the X has the worst cup holder layout I've seen in a long time. The two under the arm rest are useless because they are too far back and they would negate the ability to use the arm rest.

The two down in the console are OK and I like the adjustability of them, but if you try to put two Yeti tumblers or anything bigger than a water bottle, the sliding door gets in the way of the front-most cup. Has anybody come up with a solution that lets you actually use two decent size cups/bottles at the same time? I think if there was a way to remove the sliding console cover, or make it go back further (towards the front), that would help. Has anybody removed that?

The link i sent you doesnt come with wireless. Ill have to dig up the amazon purchase. but any of them will work that plugs into a usb power source.

I have that one as well, but the cup holders in that are tiny also. I typically have two Yeti tumblers up front and they won't fit together in that one.

There are two, they are in the console and pop out when pressed in.

ETA: They are below the A/C vents on the back of the center console.
