Depends on what it is and if there is current legislation blocking its execution. However I tend to agree, I think most of it could be done via policies alone.
The BTL comments in RenewEconomy are infested with lots of cynical, churlish and ungrateful comments along these lines. Labor is the same as the Libs, the current Government is all talk and no action, is in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry, etc.
Pointing out the things they have done that prove the ALP is clearly not the LNP (e.g. legislate an emissions reduction target, the 82% renewable energy target by 2030, getting the energy ministers to work together to create a national energy policy, legislating the safeguard mechanism, the Powering Australia transmission grid policy etc) doesn’t even get grudging recognition, let alone praise. It’s just never good enough
.I am sure the government is not going to remove the LCT, whether it is for zev only or not, but it they did, I would be buying a Taycan, not a Tesla!
Taycan is very much in the “wait for the second generation“ category for me.
