Bjørn,After watching some old videos: I speculated a year(?) ago why addingsecond motor could make MS more efficient: Efficiency of an electricmotor peaks somewhere middle of power range. For example:http://www.acpropulsion.com/datasheet/ac150gen2.pdf So in normaldriving smaller motor than yours is used closer to its peakefficiency. To get better efficiency MSD must use only one motor. IfI understand correctly, high power efficiency is limited by increasingresistive loses and low power efficiency by energy needed to createmagnetic fields inside the motor. Permanent magnet motors have betterefficiency with high power and too strong magnetic fields for lowpower usage -> low efficiency.Teslamotors has now made over 60000 MS. Norwegians have bought over6000, so it is not surprising that you see many Norwegian MSseverywhere.How long is waiting time for a Norwegian Tesla buyer now? About changing to 85PD: I guess that Tesla is going to make somethingbetter in a year or two...

A combination of that and the uphill maybe. On the other hand, I didn't stomp on the accelerator which should have given 0,5 sec faster time. And my Goodyear Eagle RS-A2 have less grip compared to Pilot Sport. You can hear the tires in the beginning. So therefore this is considered a real-life test where each car have different conditions.
