Buddy took delivery of an Austin LR AWD in Bloomington IL yesterday and this is what we found. First his VIN A0009979
1. Old door cards
2. Carpeted rear door trim
3. Rear Cargo Cover
4. No UMC
He ordered last Oct so he didn't get the UMC but he got a Voucher, turns out the Service Center CAN'T accept the voucher, so he paid cash for a UMC and 14-50 adapter. He says he'll use the voucher to buy a second UMC that comes with the 14-50 adapter from the Tesla Store. Wonder why Tesla Service Centers can't accept the voucher for a UMC?
Interesting he got the OLD door cards.
The was only ONE QC flaw and that was where the front fender meets the bumper under the headlight, that pointy part. It was sticking up about 1/8th of an inch.
Else the car was PERFECT in appearance and driving. The suspension was far more supple and compliant than on early VIN 2020 I just traded in on Aug 25th even with the tires pumped UP to 44 PSI COLD.
