Buy Tesla Wall Charger in 2018 or 2019?

Since I'm getting my Model 3 sometime later this week month, I can buy the Wall Charger in either year. What year do you think may produce a potential tax credit in the future, 2018, or 2019?

Not sure if that's a regional thing or what, I'd check with your local power authority.

I think the last (federal) credit for installing a charger died last year (so filing 2017 taxes in 2018 was last time you could use it)... and that only happened because congress retroactively extended it (it has expired end of 2016)

Given the current administration I wouldn't expect it to be back, but if it was at all it'd be another retroactive one so sooner is better.
